INDEPENDENT TESTING
All Power Developments Inc., of Virginia USA, using a test-rig very similar to our own, have invested considerable time and effort in replicating the cracker, assembling the requisite testing facilities and carrying out repeated and highly accurate tests to determine the increase in realized power, resulting from the use of the J-Tech fuel enhancement device. In fact, it was their CO (David Wolfe) who gave the unit its marketing name of “The Cracker”. In addition, they carried out several hundred miles of road tests, which, although not able to be as precise as the test-rig, also indicated actual and significant MPG gains.
Since carrying out this work, APD have become significant shareholders in J-Tech, and we have (more recently) agreed to produce 'retro-fit' cracker kits for APD to sell into the US and Canada markets, based upon APD's own market research.
We have been asked (several times) why we chose to have the tests carried out in the USA. Firstly, APD not only offered their services, they also seemed to take the matter more seriously than others whom we had spoken to. APD not only agreed to run the same type of tests as we had back in the early 1990s, they insisted upon building the cracker units themselves, so that they could be absolutely sure that the 'whole concept' was valid. (Of course, they insisted upon running their own tests as well, including the 'in vehicle' tests). Of equal importance, was the fact that US citizens, whilst still paying less per gallon for their fuel, actually spend more than we do in Europe, due to the considerably increased distances that they have to travel. As such, the interest in fuel economy is much stronger on that side of the pond. They also suffer worse pollution problems, and have a more 'responsible' attitude towards how to evaluate vehicle pollution. In Europe, vehicle pollution is measured as a percentage of the exhaust, with little consideration to the actual amount of fuel consumed or work done. True, that is also the 'basis' of the US testing procedures, but over there things are rapidly changing on that front, and we shall be permitted to request special consideration. Over here, all one gets is the impenetrable “That's how we do it”!
NOTE. We are, of course talking about the way that the vehicle testing stations see the picture. Even in Europe, the real experts are finding vastly more accurate and significant ways of assessing relative pollution, and would agree with us, that efficiently extracting more energy from the fuel - reduces pollution.
